Our volunteers are here for you

We have many volunteers that work both inside the prison Justitieel Complex Zaanstad en na detentie and also outside in the regio of Amsterdam, Haarlem and Zaanstad.

If you are in prison you can call on us for help. But also family members of prisoners may contact us if they have any questions or face problems that we might be able to help with.

We help to find the right organization

If we cannot help you ourselves, we will help you to find the right organization that can. There are many organizations to help with financial, practical or social needs. So don’t hesitate to contact us, as we will always do our best to try and help you.

Please make clear if you are in prison yourself or that you are a relative or friend of someone in prison.

When you fill out the contact form below, the staff of De Sluis will contact you within a few days. Please remember we are an organization of volunteers and we have no influence on the policy of the prison.
